Corporate Structure

We previously saw in the article Relationships, Roles and Permissions for a Company how to create relationships between your company and entities (persons and businesses), as well as the roles of those entities. This will generate a hierarchy of relationships and roles:

In the image above, you can see an example of this hierarchy of relationships and roles. At the same time, these companies have relationships with other entities, which may in turn have different relationships of their own. This creates multiple hierarchical levels.

In the previous example, you can see three levels. Business 1 has two relationships; Business 2 and Business 3. In turn, Business 2 has two relationships; Business 4 and Business 5. Furthermore, Business 4 has its own hierarchy of roles and relationships. This results in a multi-level structure.

For example, in this case, Business 1 does not need to be aware of the existence of Business 6 or other organizational structures.
