Example Flow: Step-by-Step Creation

Let's create an example flow to better understand how they work. We will set up a flow for a car rental service company.

  1. To request the necessary documents and information from your clients, you will create a Flow called Requirements & Info. Learn how to Create a workflow.

  2. Once you have created a Workflow, you will add a welcome message screen. You will need to configure the Start step to set the Trigger Welcome/Onboarding and the flow settings. Learn how to start a Flow and how to add a welcome message screen to start the flow.

  3. Then you will need to create a Conditional Filter based on the country of residence where the driving license is issued. Note that in some countries, the license may not be compatible with your car rental service company.

  4. Ask the client to provide us with their driver's license. To do so, you need to create the document type in Custom Documents. Once the custom document has been created, use the Document Upload button to create the step.

  5. To determine the risk impact, ask the client if they have had one or more accidents. Learn about Risk Questions.

  6. The final step will be creating a Custom Form. Use this to gather additional information such as the client's address, phone number and email address.

  7. Once the flow is completed, you will need to test it. Use the Try button to ensure that it works as expected. Learn how to try a Flow.

  8. Now it's time to Activate it. Your flow should look like in the image below:
